I can create Time for you

Today time is probably the most valuable asset in personal and business life.

Therefore I have decided to share with you how to create time.

The old saying “Time is money” represents the lesser value of time, needed for paying investments, employees etc.

There is something much more valuable about time. That is time for reflection, time for developing a vision (which creates upcoming profits and prosperity)

If you can transcend time, you can oversee the past, present and future. Create a better future by presently taking proper action with the culminated past experience.

Distance gives overview and valuable vision. In that way you can create time.

I can create time for you

Time can be created

You believe it or not, Time can be created in your own mind. How to do that? Close your eyes and go within and think about the big bang in the past which created the whole universe, consolidated planets, elements like water air and solid ground were born and the rest we know.

Ok. you will say, but how do we create time. This is a great secret and a skill I share with you now. In your own mind there is a whole universe with past present and future. All elements are there and in the bottom of your mind is eternity, timelessness. Time is emerging from the eternity as a little spring. We can transcend time by closing our eyes and go beyond your thinking.

How to stop thinking as I have a meeting in five minutes with my leadership team?

Ok. Close your eyes for ten seconds, count until 10 and then slowly open your eyes. On the next meeting I’ll be happy to hear how the meeting went and then we can continue.

Most beneficial advantage of having more time is that the most essential items of your agenda are naturally climbing up and getting actionable. This was reported to me be serveral CEO’s who got more mastery over the time element. Contact me for more information.

Intuitive Intelligence

Leadership belongs to them who lead by example. Intuitive intelligence is transferable and a great help on the workplace. An intuitive intelligent person needs not not much words or talking. It’s attuning mentally, like water streaming to the ocean. Intuitive intelligence is a flow. That is the reason why it needs not much words but appreciation, nourishing and confirmation from the leader. In that way being careful not to isolate such high performer by too much praise. Instead of that let it level and flow to others to learn. For me the great thing to see is that such skill as intuitive intelligence is transferable.

I found that the difference in output between the fastest and slowest waitress is 100%. The difference in quality 25%. Together a difference 125%. Is this acceptable? For me yes. It was much worse when I started the company two years ago. I had some waitresses who were adverse of customers and therefore I asked them kindly to reconsider they wanted to work at my place.

Intuitive intelligence and differences in performance

A machine measured difference of 500% between the slowest and fastest performer in the corporation where I worked. On top of that the fastest performer also delivered the highest standards of quality. His manager advised the highest performer to take more breaks and I am doing the same to keep high performers in shape and in some way balance the workforce. To tell somebody with intuitive intelligence to go for a break is must more pleasant then to get (s)low performers to talk less and do more. This is pushy and creates an awkward bond between the leader and the performer.

Can intuitive intelligence be transferred

Let me share with you what I noticed from my best performers. They attuned mentally to what I wanted them to do and love working. (“Work is love made visible”. A fantastic book by Frances Hesselbein, Marshall Goldsmith and Sarah McArthur.) They are eager and quick learners. Asking if not knowing or doubting how to do a certain task. Giving valuable improvement suggestions. Giving me as an owner the feeling they care for the company and it’s development. Of course the question arises: can this skill of intuitive intelligence be transferred to others? Those who are usually waiting to be addressed by commands what to do and need much time to get on speed and improve their quality of performance.

The best performer was the youngest (the one with intuitive intelligence) Because of that reason she was not accepted as a leader. I advised “keep on doing what you are doing” and gave her a little raise. I told her “you can lead by example” and after some time others started to follow her anyway as the development of the cafe/restaurant was demanding full attention and engagement. Passion for work affects your colleagues positively. A cook and serving crew is like orchestra and harmony is the product. Giving beautiful and tasty plates to happy customers is a great joy. The gap in performance is diminishing now and all are finding more their right place.

Intuitive intelligence creates great results in our kitchen.

There is another angle to this story. What can you do as a leader to promote others to develop intuitive intelligence. Intuitive intelligence is like vision, short time vision put into action. Read this article in Forbes about how many managers have an aligned vision with their CEO. If you as a leader have intuitive intelligence and vision that’s great. Remains the alignment of your managers to your vision or even better develop a shared vision.

Develop your highest Self

To develop your highest self in your leadership career needs courage. You have to be humble enough to hear what is good to change. To recognize what is really needed, listen to your environment of colleagues, friends and family. Those people who are able to give you loving criticism are the best. You do not feel hurt and they give you courage to change something for the better

The feeling of really giving up a behavior of something which is not useful for your self and your environment gives you wings to fly and are accompanied by fear. Who is not afraid of flying for the first time? Why is this feeling accompanied with fear? We are getting out of our comfort zone.

The reward of your courage and really choosing transformation of your personality gives a lot of inspiration and energy to go into a new direction and can be accompanied by an increased and more precise vision to develop your organization.

Do I need to sit in a cave to realize my highest self? No your heart is your cave and there you can find your highest self. It takes courage to look deep inside yourself. Sometimes a habit of finding some quit time in the woods or in a silent spot might help.

The Mahendra Test for Visionairs

Are you a visionair? Do you have the rare ability to see and structure a future for your people and organization? Congratulations! That’s indeed a uncommon gift which is on one side difficult and on the other side a great thing with which you can help people and organisations.

Most visionairs are sensitive people and that’s why they can look further then people who are only fixed on todays tasks which must be done. It’s nothing mystic as Peter Drucker said ”I just look out the window and see what’s visible – but not yet seen

Visionairs can look far and see what is coming. How to use your vision for the benefit of your organization or society?

Mahendra Baba was a great writer and poet from Bihar in India who was mainly concentrated on preparing the coming of his master the great Himalayan yogi Sri Babaji.

Mahendra Maharaj tested his own visions as they often were to good to be true

At a certain occasion Mahendra Baba got inspired by a beautiful set of lines about his master. He liked the verses very much but he had one doubt. How much of my ego is involved in all this? Maybe it is my ego who wanted to produce something nice and be praised for it? With this Idea in mind he said to himself. “If these verses are really coming from deep within they are still there and they will come back if I discard them now”. And as he thought he did.

He was right. On another occasion the verses came back and he was sure of the greatness of them without the involvement of his own ego.

The beginning of a vision can be overwhelming for many reasons and a young born vision needs to be sanity checked and after that the whole proces of giving life to that vision to the spheres of action and executing will start and take place.

Enlightened Leadership

Today’s world needs a more global approach to leadership. Organizations need greatly developed leaders which cannot manage only assets but especially people.

A leader is demanded to think over the boundaries of his own organization and give attention to a wide span of matters. In my aspiration of helping present and future leaders with their great and important tasks, I developed an enlightened leadership model with 5 pilars to make it easier to analyse where attention needs to go to help your organization to the next level.

You yourself are the pivotal person, the middle of the axe through which the wheel of change and progress is turning. It needs courage, humility and discipline as the great coach master Marshall Goldsmith states.

Do you have that courage to change or are you staying on the level of succes where you are now?

To be a leader who is holistically thinking about all aspects of the organization, his leadership team, managers, employees and customers, banks, shareholders and still can drive an authentic need for the society at large with safety and a clean as possible ecological footprint, needs a greatly developed mind and heart.

A person which has from one side sensitivity and from the other side strong focus and common sense to deal with every day’s disruptions is rare and valuable.

Of these 5 attention points, from my perspective as a coach the most important one is open mindedness of the leader and his team. Today we have to look out for new options available in the world and chose from them the useful for our company how to go fast and safe forward.

Not healthy is the attitude “We are a world class company’s, we know everything ourselves.” A continuous inward and outward look “Where and how can we improve?“ is according to me the greatest need for corporate and governmental leaders.

My question to you is: Where are you weakest in the five petal flower? How can we do something about it? My next question: Where are you strongest? Can you share that excellent practice with others? What is your real contribution to the world except for being a cash cow

In enlightened leadership we should not be denying excellence of creating cash but go far beyond it. What we really want to contribute to our society. A pandemic show how fragile is financial excellence if it does not coexist with human health and happiness.

The globalization has not ended but just started. It’s in a teenager stage needing strong parents to grow into a beautiful youth for our upcoming generation.
